Time to have another look at an issue of the Games Workshop in home magazine, White Dwarf.
At
the beginning of the year, at the Aalst Underworlds tournament, I
obtained a nice stack of older magazines for nought, and been flicking
through them on and off.
Now,
let's have a look through it after reading them, and have some
opinions. I do say, I am not into the whole 40k universe thing for
years, so those won't be getting to much attention on my part for the
reading, but the things that caught my intrest I read of course.
After a community section with an awesome Smaug, we dive into the Mortal Realms first with a look at the Bright City. Ironically when looking at these older images, the next update is an update on the no longer existing Beasts of Chaos for the game, as they have been transferred back to The Old World in the time that passed. This also brings along a battle report for the update, before we go to an instalment of Tale of Four Gamers.
Warcry received rules in this issue as well, for gaming in Thondia.
Next we move to the 40k section, starting with a battle report, before we get more material for Flashpoint Nachmund and an index article on the Aeldari with some additional rules for them. A gallery on the massive knights is then shared with the readers.
For Underworlds some rules are there to play over relics, while Adeptus Titanicus features material for honour banners.
So an average magazine on the level of picking my intrests, though it is fun to read back on games that have evolved ever since.
