Date A Live season 2

While it aired back in 2014, Noshi and me completed this series right on time... because past friday, season 3 went live.

I really liked the first season for it's lightheartedness, and while it has all the tropes of a regular harem anime, they make it kind of unique.

Shido Itsuka, who used to be a normal high school student at Raizen High, meets the first Spirit, Tohka, and awakens his power to "seal the Spirit's power". Though they may be feared and hated beings due to their immense power, Spirits were always alone and knew only combat and death. Shido, the only one in the world with the power to seal the Spirits' might, hurls himself into life-threatening dates with the beautiful Spirits in order to save them.

This season, Shido is faced with of course trying to stop more Spirits, but his encounter with Miku actually makes him loose a few of them.  However, the powers moving behind the scenes make their move at that moment to kidnap Tokha, and as Shido sets out to save her, he gains some very unlikely allies along the way...

Glad we finished it now though, because the ending leaves a few hard questions, and with s3 just out we can soon dive in and get those answers hopefully!
