Free Hack issue 3

 Time for another of the free supplemental magazines for the various Ganesha Games "Songs"!

And this issue, which came out in january 2010, provides 21 pages of new material to that end.

It starts with the Introduction and short news snippets as in the previous issues, before going to the FAQ section, this time for Song of Arthur and Merlin, and it is a big one covering almost 4 pages.  More clarifications are then brought out, this time for the Mutants game system with a Q&A, as well as the other rulesets they produce.

A spotlight is then held against the Fear and Faith game system, think Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the likes to get an idea of the setting of the game, as you are hunting monsters in a current day setting.  There are also some words for Flying Lead, a stand alone modern skirmish game from WW2 to the present day conflicts.

Next we get a scenario for Songs of Blades and Heroes, Lilith Takes a Day Off, where she goes out to hunt some peasants for snacks as she is a fierce succubus.  A second scenario, Lord Anthraton's Rest, deals with a royal mummy and his lich captain.  Finally there is a third short scenario (pun intended) with Thwarting the Dwarves Logistics, which brings the elves and dwarves opposite to each other.

There is a fourth, bigger scenario next, in which two warbands are delving through caverns as their cartographer must find the way outside before the Hyena people get them.

And that is it for this issue!  Mainly some clarifications and a bunch of scenarios, and that is actually fully what I expect from a magazine supplementing a game system, so I liked this one a lot!
