And so we move into "uncharted territory" as this is the first book of the story after the anime ended after a single season, alas!!!
Considering the first three volumes dealt with the storyline of the anime, it now takes on a whole different experience reading these, as I can no longer imagine what will be happening, making it a double fun experience as such.
The siblings have to take on the hardest challenge of all, as they need to face the game of ... love. When approached by the Damphyr, a race of succubi vampires, and the Siren, they have to find a way around a puzzle of waking up the Siren queen from an eternal sleep, which seemingly can only happen by true love. But Sora and Shiro take on the challenge together with their allies, as they can bring not one but two races into their new confederacy of Elkia.
Because both races depend heavily on each other, and now they are on the brink of involuntarily exterminating each other unless they can defeat Immanity and bring them under their spell to be able to procreate, something they now had to do by relying on each other, with fatal consequences for them both...
Can our heroes save Immanity in this 4th volume of the series? Okay, considering there are 10 books, I guess you can already answer that one, but the lighter tone of this volume makes it another fun read and I can`t wait to start volume 5!
