Classic Lego Build: 6664 Chopper Cops

The food is getting digested, the new year craze is calming down, and as such we can pick up again where we left off, doing Lego builds and share them with the world.

Another one of the classic Town range, Chopper Cops was a small set released in 1993 as part of one of the many waves of the police subtheme.

The set comes with two minifigures, adorned in the back then updated police uniforms.

The first build is a motorcycle with printed `police` signs on it`s flanks.

The second, and main build, is the police helicopter, which starts with the landing gear of the small heli.

Upon this, the main bodywork is constructed by using a black plate and white slopes to form out the seating area for the pilot.

The tail is then added to the little machine.

The canopy and the main rotor are added to the machine, and the little helicopter is already completed.

Not my genre, this is never the less a nice little set with some decent play possibilities if you`re into City.  And it can be found dirt cheap on BL and the likes to boot, costing less on average then a SW Microfighter!
