Unboxing Fate / Grand Order Mash Kyrielight

My most recent figure to arrive from the TokyoCatch crane game app, Mash is the servant / protagonist of the Fate Grand Order anime.

Artificially created, she is a real protecting bulwark, and faithful companion.

Now, this figure isn`t in her combat dress with her huge shield, but rather in her scientific jacket from back at their homebase of operations.  And that means she goes well with the Romani figure I unboxed a while ago I hope.

But, after her unboxing, I must admit I`m a bit disappointed in her.  Not by the quality of the figure, but by her sheer size...

Unboxing Fate/Grand Order Romani Archaman

A character that plays an integral part in the Fate/Grand Order series, and responsible for creating Mash, Romani is now in my collection.

And he looks, on picture and box art, so nice and crisp.

Won over at TokyoCatch, I`m unboxing him in this short video:

So nope, the figure didn't disappoint, even though the base might have been better in a more contrasting black colour if you ask me.

But overal, I`m happy with the bloke to join my growing Fate prize figure collection!

Unboxing Fate Grand Order Hassan of Serenity

A new Fate Grand Order prize figure for my collection on the unboxing segment today, and one of a movie I actually still have to watch.

Which will normally be within the coming weeks if all goes to plan on the watch list schedule, but that also means I for now have no clue how she appeared on the screen.

But she was "an opportunity" to get on TokyoCatch with minimal effort, so I went in, plucked her out of the machine, had her shipped and received her half of february.

So without further ado, let's break those seals!

A sleek looking figure for sure, she now stands nicely in the evergrowing collection overhere.

Unboxing Fate Grand Order Nitocris

Okay, I like the Fate franchise, even though I don`t really bother about the chinese puzzle called the Fate timeline.

I just watch the series and enjoy it, and the servants based on historical characters makes it great fun.

And I won this Sega SPM range figure at Toreba crane games, so let's unbox this figure!

Now, I personally like the SPM line, they are nicely detailed for a prizefigure, and they aren`t teenyweeny small either.

So now this lady stands nicely in the cabinets, great figure!

Fate / Extra: Last Encore

Right, time for some Fate, a franchise I'm growing more and more fond off.

And this time, it's the 10 episode long Last Encore series first season, an alternate path of the Holy War depicted in Fate / Stay Night

A technological hell masquerading as paradise, Tsukimihara Academy is an artificial high school that serves as the setting for the next Holy Grail War. Created by the Moon Cell computer, the school is inhabited by Earth-projected souls who have even the slightest aptitude for being a "Master." Of these 256 souls, 128 will be chosen for the main tournament and granted a Servant. With all of the Masters selected, the Academy activates a purge, targeting the remaining lifeforms for elimination.

Awakening in a pool of his own blood, Hakuno Kishinami refuses to die. Fueled by unknown feelings of hatred, he vows to fight for survival. As he struggles to escape from a relentless pursuer, he finds a crimson blade plunged into the ground; and by pulling it out, Hakuno summons his own Servant, Saber, who instantly destroys his pursuer in a flurry of rose petals. With his newfound power, Hakuno must now begin his journey to Moon Cell's core, the Angelica Cage. There, he will unveil the reason for this artificial world and the secrets of his own blood-soaked past.

As he starts out at the first level, he learns from resistance fighter Rin that he needs to defeat the floor master, his old friend Shinji Matou.  Shinji runs the city now, build for Masters that laid down the ambition to gain the Holy Grail and exploiting their servants.

Hakuno and Sabre ascend the floor thanks to the virtual copy of Rin, only to be hunted on the next level by an Archer class.  A rendition of Rani comes to their aid, explaining what is seemingly going on and that the battle has lasted at least 50 years now...

On the second floor, he meets floormaster Blackmore and his servant Robin Hood, out to kill all Masters.  Blackmore has been doing this now for 999 years after being ressurected here, yet is unable to ascend higher.  Arriving at the third floor, Rin has returned, apparently having survived the flooding of the first one.  He faces Alice, a cyber-ghost, and be ready for some really psychedelic episodes here in the better Alice in Wonderland madhouse style.

When he has to battle the older brother of the best Master in the history of the Grail wars, it turns out Saber had a master previously, but also that his memory seems to start playing tricks on him.  Slowly but surely, he starts to learn the truth behind SERAPH and how it is all connected... or isn't.  As he unravels not only the secrets behind his past, but even about is whole being and coming into existence, he gets more and more conflicted about why he fights for the Holy Grail...

Another action packed series, but it is a bit of a strange jumping around in time and realities for this series, and it (which is a good thing!) takes a while as a viewer to lay down the pieces and make the puzzle.

Unboxing Fate / Grand Order Ana

Arriving in my Ediya Shop order I unboxed a while ago, came this Fate / Grand Order figure of Medusa.

Now, the more Fate I watch, the more I get reeled into the franchise, I really like it.

And Medusa is one of my favorite characters from the franchise so far, which for me started with the Night series, and she was the first model I bought about a month ago from the line.

So now my second figure from Fate has arrived, and it is indeed another Medusa, or Ana as she is called in this version, "the girl that carries destiny", the youthfull version of Medusa and a Lancer class this time round, this version is her "first stage" of evolution in power.

The model comes with a huge scythe and a flowing pony tail as "key points" in her sculpt, so let's have a look at her as we unbox the model!

While a bit of a b**ch to assemble with the chain, as you don`t want to put on to much force to avoid breaking off the thumb, she is a great looking figure once assembled.

And so the collection of FATE has slowly started... but rest assured more will be added over the years!

Unboxing Fate / Stay Night Rider

I love the Fate / Stay Night part of the franchise, and the Rider (Medusa) was one of the collest servants in my opinion.

So when I could grab the SEGA prize figure for only 1780 yen over at AmiAmi, I didn`t hesitate.

But boy, am I suprised at how big she is!

A truly fantastic figure for sure, and a lovely one for my regrowing collection of anime figures!

Ediya Shop order

Okay, big thumbs for client service to Ediya Shop in Sweden!

With the new VAT rulings coming into effect the 1st of july, I didn`t want to order this little slime figure from Japan.

Because in all seriousness, I ADORE that little model!

Mandarake has him at 800 yen, but adding 1600+ yen shipping AND cusyoms costs would be insane.  So looking around in europe, only this store carried him... but they only ship to the scandinavian countries.  Bummer.

I put on my bold shoes and send them a mail, asking if there is a possible way they ship to Belgium, and the next morning I already had a reply.  For a week they would open their webstore options for shipping to my little country as well.  So in went the order for the figure (and then some, just because I could).

So I ordered and payed the 28th of june, being posted the day after and the 2nd of july this parcel of arrived:

So yes, not only is it that totally ADORABLE and hilarious Rimuru figure, I also grabbed a prize class figure for my budding Fate / Stay collection.

Now, with the IOSS rules seemingly blocking EVERY parcel coming towards Belgium from outside the EU, alternatives will be looked for and tried out!
