Collectable Spectacle is a YouTube documentary series following collectors.
In this 18 episode series, the makers follow Mark Bellomo (btw, he is half Belgian), writer of various collector guides.
They join him when he opens one of his storage lockers and goes through box after box of packed and loose toys, which he mainly collects as source material for pictures in his various books. Over the series, they join in the works for a picturing session for his 2nd edition GI Joe collector guide. We also get to visit a youth house Mark worked in, and his favorite stores.
During the series, he explains why he does it, and not from an financial point of view talks about the figures. or his philosophy to leave toys to the children in the stores. Noble words many an investor doesn`t care about unfortunatly.
It was a nice little series, every episode taking between 7 to 10 minutes, and you can just grab it on YouTube if you fancy a watch!
