Tangled

Okay, so next year I'll be watching more Disney movies to catch up to Noshi (see my year goals for 2027 when I post them in december), but now I just wanted to watch this one for Mother Gothel, who is my core of my Lorcana Infinity deck I build.

But, first things first, watching some movies...

Tangled is the tale of Rapunzel, who was born from a single drop of sunlight.  Whenever she sings, her immensely long golden hair grants healing powers, and Mother Gothel keeps her locked away in a tower in order to use this power to stay eternally young.  But one day, a rogue called Flynn Rider stumbles upon her, and takes her out to see the world, to get his stolen tiara back.

However, Mother Gothel learns of this, and wants to stop this, causing Flynn, whose real name is Eugene, to be arrested.  Rapunzel is tricked in thinking he left her, but their friends, led by the horse Maximus, save him from hanging.  Gothel stabs him, but Rapunzel is prevented by a dying Eugene to save him as he cuts her hair, so she won't spend the rest of her life in captivity.  As Gothel falls out of the tower, a tear of Rapunzel falls on Eugene, healing him.  Returning to her original family, as she was a missing princess it turned out, they live happily ever after.

So well, yeah.  It isn't a bad movie, but for me personally of all those modern ones so far I only really enjoyed Encanto and Coco.  However, the scenes with the thugs, like the jailbreak, are downright hilarious, so that is that.

Is this going in my I love this one drawer?  Nope, but it didn't feel like a waste of time either.
