The sets of the final The Hobbit wave have shown up here and with box images that teach us one or two important things.
First off all, be glad you didn`t shelf out hundreds of dollars for the SDCC Bard. Like Azog, he is in an actual retail set, as his clamshell didn`t have `limited edition` on it and this was halfway expected.
In the end, it turns out he will be in the Battle of the Five Armies set. So after the Desolation set, we now have (small) cover art box pictures, and the funding planning can be errrm planned hehe.
The Smallest set features Elrond (not the PS3 Polybag version), a very excellent Galadriel and the Witch King
Battle of Lake Town has Bard, his son, Tauriel and some Orcs and looks like it will go nicey alongside the first wave released Lake Town Chase.
The final set, Battle of the Five Armies, has the SDCC Bard, which is a relief as the model still goes 200 - 250 USD on eBay and the likes, but will be in a 60 USD boxed set...
