Star Trek: The Arena vignette

Let`s start with an understatement: sometimes, TOS (The Original Series) of Star Trek could get a bit cheesy.  

But what was more cheesy, in the special effects department, then the battle between Kirk and the Gorn in the first season.

Cardboard rocks, overacting Kirk, and finally coming up with the solution of making a bazooka out of bamboo to fire away with diamonds, putting McGuyver to shame, yep, The Arena had it all..

So what more then to honour the 50th anniversary, and the kick off of a series of Star Trek builds I`m going to do, then to build a small vignette to this testimony of 60s awesomeness!
