Time for some absurdity in the sci-fi marathon, with the screen adaption of Douglas Adam's book.
A british / american sci-fi comedy, this is good for a few laughs, especially with late Alan Rickman's Marvin the Paranoid Android.
Plot
When Earth is suddenly destroyed, Arthur finds himself on an alien spaceship thanks to his friend Ford, who is an actual alien.
They team up with Trillian, a girl he met on earth, a clinically depressed robot and the President of the Galaxy, they set out to find the mythical planet of Margathea to discover the answer to everything.
Opinion
It`s all laughs, and some fantastic actor performances. Don`t go looking for this movie if you want a thrilling space opera, but do when you want a relaxing evening movie.
Oh, and read the book... it`s even far more brilliant.
