Lord Ipsqueek's Adventures: Kasterlee, the third act!

 Listen up lovely followers of mine, for I have another tale to share!

 

Last week mommy took me, daddy and grandma back to daddy's youth sentiment place, as we rented a caravan in Kasterlee for a short vacation.

 

Returning back to Houtum, we where out for some playtime fun, culinary delights and of course fresh air, away from the busy life in the city.  Because face it, I have a very hunted life and I need to unwind of course.

 

I claimed the upper bunk as my private office during the stay, allowing my family to come on audience whenever I required their presence...

 

... though I also did some yoga style meditating in there! 

 

 

 

And what better way to get that energy out of the system then with some immediate testing of the trampolines present in the playgarden!  So I took daddy along over the park, as I still perfectly knew the road to the playgarden.

 

 

 

Of course, over the course of this little stay, I needed to test out the other things as well like the little merry-go-round or the slides.  They also had an indoor playground, but that was a bit of a complicated route to the slide, so I compensated that with a lot of outdoor play.

 

Short holidays are of course also all about a good meal, and the first night I demanded french fries!

 

We also went to the nearby Netherust, which also has a fantastic playground, and I had some delicious fresh lasagna there.  Daddy went for the Netheburger, their in-house specialty with a spicy chili based sauce.  I did think about his line though and graciously sacrificed myself to eat his nacho's as well...

 

 

Another lovely trip was to the ice cream place "Ijssloeberke" in nearby Tielen, where not only could I enjoy some more slides, they also had this amazing pistachio ice cream!

  

And so our little trip neared it's end, though that didn't stop me from getting up at 6 o' clock on the last morning, put on my shoes and enjoy some more moments of contemplating in the fresh morning air!

  

A short and fun visit, which I really enjoyed as it gave me some great hours of sleep as well as well-filled tummy-tums, what more does one want?  And judging by the "healthy dirty" look, I managed to unwind quite a lot hihi....
