What I won in 2020

Like every year, I always join in al those give aways and follower competitions on social media, be it YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc...

This is something I have been doing since my Lego days, and usually amount to 2 or 3 free stuffsies a year, well worth the minor work of usually "like, comment, share" kind of competitions.

And this year it is no different.

The first win came end of feburary, when I grabbed a nice set of Barachino's for my Cruel Seas fleet from a FB contest run by Creative Painting & Models 24/7 for the launch of the new CS expansion.

So that was already a good start for the year.

But I also obtained some prizes at the few tournaments I joined this year.

At Escalation III back in the beginning of february, I got these alternate art promo cards for the two starter factions from Beastgrave.

April 12th saw a first for me, as I won my first Instagram give away.  dndminisdaily / projectdarkwater did their amount of followers milestone draw, and I came out 3rd, winning 2 Babirusa miniatures.

In june, I won a give away by Tabletop Scenics (for the second time since they do them, last year I won Gothic Fences) for the beautifull new Frostgrave range Enchanted Well.

Lovely looking set for sure!

Beginning of July, a nice little parcel fell in the mailbox, containing the figure I earned for reaching X on this year's AHPC Treasure Island Map, painted up by Ray from the Don't Throw a 1 blog.

He now sits in my memorabilia cabinet.

End of July and another Instagram give away was reeled in.  A joined contest ran by Rogue Outpost and Chaos Cards wielded me two Star Wars X-Wing vessels as well as some alternate art promo cards.

While not my playfaction, the cards are superb!

More Instagram winning during july, as I was the lucky winner of Falkors_hoard's give away, which included my beloved Rohan dice.

Great month indeed!

September yielded yet another Instagram give away win, with a Custom Primaris Lieutenant in Phobos Armour by apollocolors and thedarkservitor

So 2020 might have been a lousy year on many hobby levels, on the give away front it was a high roller!
