Alice in Borderland

 Okay, so first of, WTF doesn`t even start to cut it in this Netflix original series.

Adapted from a manga, this real life actors series takes you down on a rollercoaster of emotions and twists, many you won`tsee coming.

Arisu is a NEET, who suddenly finds himself in a Tokyo with almost no people, and a lot of deadly games one must survive in order to keep living in what is essentially a large videogame.  Together with his friends Karube and Chota, he tackles the various games, and learning about "the Beach" while at it.

When his friends sacrifice themselves for him to live, he sets out with Usagi, a girl he met during the games, to go and find this beach, and unravel the secrets of this world, and more imporantly, how to get out of it.  But the beach is ran by a self proclaimed messiah, and once the resort suddenly turns into a huge gaming arena, all hell breaks loose!

A really entertaining show, and I`m glad it got renewed for a second season.  I haven`t read the manga nor seen the OVA adaption, so I have no clue at all what is happening in the coming series, and I like that for once.

Now let's hope it just doesn`t take TO long before s2 is ready!
