A quiet evening at the club as a lot of people where off to Salute, though mostly in noise as there was still a lot of gaming going on.
And like most of the time, it involved a lot of different game systems and periods.
While me and Noshi enjoyed a few games of Lord of the Rings, both battle reports following later this week, there was a Dux "viking" battle taking place with an awesome village being attacked. I might consider looking into that scenery over time for an excellent Middle earth settlement as well...
The 40k League was taking full swing as well, with three League games under way this evening: The Custodes faced the Guard, the Eldar had a regicide as Craftworld and Harlequins faced off, and the Iron Warriors tried to stem a flood of Tyranids coming their way.
There was also a non-League battle between Orks and Drukhari.
The "odd fish in the bite" this week, you know, the games that are played but rather irregularly, was Dystopian Wars, as mighty fleets crashed on the oceans.
The boardgames where well represented as well again, Arno trying out Wingspan, while a few tables further Axis and Allies saw world war 2 fought out.
Talking World War 2, a 28mm city fight was being fought out as well.
The final game of the evening was one of the monthly gathering of cyclists gamers, as sweat was lost by the liters in an effort to take the flowers...
So a nice and varied clubnight once again, even with our president and his right-hand trying to solve the Brexit in person in London ;-)
