With the for the moment latest released volume of this series, I am going into uncharted territory as this volume is the first one "post anime".
Meaning I now have no idea what will be happening, or where the path of Gojo and Marin goes.
During a cosplay event in the aquarium, they run into a girl looking for a piece of her costume. When Gojo offers to repair her small damage, it turns out she is actually a he, a crossplayer. Their new friend, Amane, takes them along to a big cosplay store, where Gojo buys lots of specialised make up he never even saw before to improve Marin's costumes.
After they say bye to him, Marin explains Gojo about the attraction and popularity of bunny girls, even how mainstream anime characters often get a figure or art of them depicted in that manner. But the costume she wants actually proves a huge challenge for Gojo. After a shopowner helps him out with some tips on how to recreate it, Gojo reflects on himself, concluding he had become arrogant as the previous costumes came so easy to him and didn`t do his usual deep research.
They rent a professional studio setting for the shoot, when she decides to wear her bunny costume to a Halloween party. Not only that, she also convinces Gojo he should join... in costume! He dresses up in a full rabbit suit, and during a talk about why he as a guy knows how to apply make up, he learns he shouldn`t automatically assume the worst in people.
But then the question is popped wether he and Marin are going out... but to see how that fans out I`ll have to wait a few months sadly.
Oh, and the shopowner, he had some good advice to live by...
