On the Painting Desk 221: welcome to 2023!

 So here we go again, a new year, and new brushstrokes to be had!

And we continue where we left of before the holidays, with work on the Arthur model kit.

So, his base layers are done now in the past evenings, meaning I can start the second layer soonish and make him slowly come to life as more contrast will come into him as such.

 

 Talking SMC models, I finally based Caramel, albeit on a provisionary round base.  It seems that once the second Kickstarter for MechaTop hits, smaller scaled bases will be included.  Apparently, hinted by the creator, it will even feature those 5cm sized bases I use for my gachapon woopwoop.
