What I Won in 2022

So, another year of Instagram and whotnot giveaways, japanese app crane game free plays and more is upon us.

And after the rather incredible spectacular 2021, let's see if we can do better.

One thing I took back from last year, save up all TP over at Toreba for their lucky bags in december, unless it is for shipping costs with the free play wins.

And talking Toreba, they kicked off the price winning year this time round, as soon as the 4th of january already.  Nezuko was caught, and I had her shipped out the 21st.

Now, that Toonize Zenitsu I won at TokyoCatch near the end of 2021?  He is joined by his buddy Inosuke after I grabbed him the 6th of january, and had them shipped the 9th.

They arrived the 3th of february safe and sound!

But the Nezuko above won't be making her journey alone, as the day I was having her shipped, I first went for my free plays... and grabbed a Nitocris from Fate Grand Order!

The ladies arrived safely the 2nd of february.  I also had her unfortunatly in one of my lucky bags, so this one went in the to trade away pile.

A small Instagram giveaway win on the 10th of january granted me some digital art in the form of a chibi style figure.  I opted to have my kimono version Kurumi drawn, and received her on the 23rd.

I actually love this so much, she IS going to become a tattoo on my body!

On the 17th of january, a fourth win was added in crane games, as I grabbed Hassan from Fate Grand Order over on TokyoCatch.

And a day later, Lalah Sune was also caught in the pale colour version!

The 21st of january, the next figure was caught, with Kaguya-sama from Love is War.

And on the 25th, I won this cute mini cushion of Rilakkuma.

I had all of them shipped out the same date, on the 2nd of february, and they arrived safely the 11th.

TokyoCatch kept being a good source in january though, because on the 30th I caught this Romani Archaman figure of Fate / Grand Order.

As well as this lovely little Pikachu basket.

On the 2nd of february, I scored double with the complete 20th wave of Demon Slayer, the siblings Sabito and Makomo!

And even more where caught the day after on the 3rd, with first the ubercute Sagiri Izumi from Eromanga Sensei, and a bit later Evangelion's Asuka!

On the 5th, I grabbed this cute little Mount Fuji oran bowl, which is used in Japan to put sweets in or even just as decoration.

The 7th yielded yet another figure, with the Sakura Hatsune Miku being caught.

The 10th, another figure was added to what is becoming a seriously big box to have shipped out, with none other then Mu of Jamir, the Aries saint, from the Cosmo Memoir series.

As well as this cute Pumpkin shaped Kuromi cushion the same day.

A day later joined by Pompompurin.

All of the above was shipped out on the 17th in 3 parts, and arrived safe and sound on the 5th of march for the first two boxes, the third trailing behind before arriving the 10th.

On the 1st of february I won an Instagram give away third price (originally, there where actually just two) for stickers of original anime inspired art, created by instagram user Chrysalis_EB

Having no idea what I'd get, and not wanting to know in advance to not spoil the suprise, I opened the enveloppe which arrived the 8th, and found...

On the 5th of february, Toreba was succesful as I grabbed this Rimuru from the World Collectible Figure series 2 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, sadly I already have him though, so he'll end up on the trade pile.

Little Rimuru doesn`t have to travel alone though, because on the 16th I also won this Ichika microfiber towel.  They shipped out the 24th, arriving the 9th of march.

Even more on the 16th, was that I also grabbed another figure on TokyoCatch, namely this QPosket of Creamy mami from Magical Angel.

On the 19th, TokyoCatch yielded succes as well, with the Bofuri Maple with Wool Accents colours.

The 20th, another TokyoCatch was added to the tally, with this JuJu kaisen QPosket figure of Nobara Kugisaki.

While on the 21st, this awesome Dragon Maid cushion got added.

And finally on the 22nd of february, lord Flashy himself!

I had this order shipped to me the 28th, and they arrived safe and sound the 15th of march for the first box, and the second one arrived the 25th.

A day later, on the 25th, it was double whammy on TokyoCatch, as I grabbed no less then 2 noodle stoppers.

First, the love hashira, Kanroji Mitsura.

And later on, the 2022 Sakura Hatsune Miku.

As well as on the 27th, this Ranka Lee Qposket was caught.  While I'm not that big a fan of Qposket's, this is one that will go into my collection for sure!

While on the 2nd of march, this huge Miku Nakano bodypillow joined the lootpile!

These where shipped to me on the 17th, arriving safely the 23th

Also on the 19th of february, which was very good day, I caught Tanjiro on Toreba, so he can join his little sister in the cabinets.

He was joined the 21st with this Toreba exclusive acryll stand of VTuber Mel Oguri.

I had them shipped to me, departing Japan on the 9th of march before arriving on the 9th of june.  This due to the conflict in Ukraine, causing it all to go by surface mail at Toreba.

On the 16th of march, I won an instagram giveaway for some Pokemon cards.

Sadly, these cards never found their way to my mailbox though.

Also on the 16th, I got another win over at TokyoCatch, with this cute Quintuplets plushie, as well as with Eromanga Sensei's Sagiri!

On the 19th, they where joined by a Marvel Qposket of Rescue.

Only to be joined by Mash Kyrielight on the 23th.

And no less then kanon from Saint Seiya himself on the 27th!

This lot was then duly shipped out the 3rd of april, to arrive overhere on the 8th.

On the 1st of april, I won another Instagram giveaway from a collab of sticker makers, sxuce.mp3 and 2prcnt.us.

I opted to be suprised for the most part what I would receive, and they shipped out the 4th of april.  The Sxuce one arrived the 12th of april, and apart from a Marin one I picked, these where inside:

And the one from 2prcnt came a few days later, on the 14th, containing the following:

The 8th of april I caught a figure I REALLY wanted, the Gundam SEED Strike transparent model.

And he was joined on the 18th of may with Ichika, so he didn't have to travel alone.

I had them shipped out the same day, arriving safe and sound on the 27th of May.

On the 24th of april, it was the Crema2 app that yielded loot, as I caught Yamcha!

I grabbed a snack pack as well to have the two required items to ship out, leaving Japan the 14th of july, and he arrived the 2nd of august.

On the 9th of june, TokyoCatch yielded fresh loot, in this Demon Slayer tissue holder box.  I got the Tanjiro one btw, and had it shipped out the 22nd of july, to arrive safely the 2nd of september.

More Demon Slayer was won at the same site, as the 7th of july I caught Tanjiro.  And that gives me some nice items to combine for postage.

On the 7th of september, I caught Gyomei's Qposket over at TokyoCatch.

The next win came in the form of none  other then Gigi Andalucia from Hathaway's Flash, a figure I really wanted to win ever since she came on TokyoCatch.

On the 10th of october, I grabbed another figure with this QPosket Deku.

That made a nice bundle to have shipped!  It went out end of november, to arrive here the 2nd of januari 2023.

On the 13th of november, grabbing a second place at a Magic the Gathering pre-release event, we gained two booster packs as price support.

On the 14th of november, another win was scored at TokyoCatch with this Nino.

On the 9th of december, i grabbed (with some serious luck) a figure I really wanted to win, with none other then Denki Kaminari!

The final win to go in the above lot for shipping, is this ubercute Pokemon blanket, which I grabbed the 18th of december.

Or so I tought, because the 20th, Hawks was caught as well!

I had this whole lot shipped out to me the last week of december, so they should arrive somewhere january / february next year.

So yeah, another good year for sure, and with a value of about 1.024 EUR this time, compared to the 540 EUR of 2021.  I must say, I am getting the hang of these crane game things though...

But not only that, I also gained some lovely original art over the year, and that is something my little otaku heart really beats for.
