Some more scenery got finished today, in the form of these two ruined pieces.
Solid cast in a resin / plaster like material, they are quite heavy... and the club wanted to throw them on the garbage container during last year's cleanup as they didn`t fit our terrain and where in a bad, dirty shape.
So first they enjoyed a nightlong hot tub in detergent to get all the grime off, and this week with the lockdown time still galore, I went to painting them.
Basecoated black and then neutral gray from those Amsterdam acryll paints, I washed them with Strong Tone afterwards, and finally drybrushes of Vallejo Cold Grey and Sky grey.
A simple job in the end, but now instead of rotting on some garbage dump, they have been given a new lease on life for my Frostgrave and the likes games here at home.

This is the Miniature of the Month from Games Workshop for April 2024! I
have no idea why I painted it up before ALL THE OTHER THINGS!? I guess it
was so...
